Tarps Now provides Silt Fencing to help protect against soil and sediment runoff at construction and industrial locations. These strong and lightweight porous barriers are made with puncture, tear, burst, and UV resistant woven synthetic fabric that is available in 36” X 100’ rolls. Each roll contains approximately 11 stakes that are spaced every 9 feet (10’ max). These are specially designed to permit water to pass through while retaining silt, sediment, and other matter where installed. They protect streams, lakes and other waterways from silt build up and keeps nearby roads free of dirt, sediment, mud, and other substances. The typical life expectancy of these is about six months, depending upon the amount of rainfall and runoff the site encounters. The Silt Fences are durable, strong, lightweight and easy to use.
