Silica Fabric (1800° F)

Commonly used for applications necessitating the highest resistance to heat and chemicals, this high temperature material meets military specifications MIL-C-24576A and MIL-I-24244C. Refrasil Cloth provides thermal protection for welding blankets, curtains, and screens as well as furnace curtains and other applications requiring resistance to extremely high temperatures with a high melting point of 3000° F . It protects against slag and molten splatter. It can also be used for stress relief blankets. The color is tan, and it comes in 18oz and 36oz weights. This silica fabric can be manufactured to meet FM approval and ANSI 4950 specifications upon request, for an additional cost.
