These are used to help tie down your tarp with a host of items including rope/cord, rubber straps, bungee balls, zip ties, hooks, and fasteners. As tight as possible without putting stress on the tarp, connect it to the surface or structure with the items mentioned.

Grommets or eyelets are most often metal along with rubber or plastic that cover/reinforce the holes in the perimeter of the tarps, covers, and curtains. These are intended to be used to tie down, secure the tarp to the surface or structure with rope/cord, rubber straps, bungee balls, zip ties, hooks, or fasteners.
